I think parralaxes are murder too. D:
But at least it's flowing now.
Alright, spent a good while trying to make it run better. I think my brain is bleeding now. I'll be leaving it as it is now, cuz trying to time everything correctly in parralax is just absolutely breaking me
Good start- you might want to make it more fluid though.
Never tried parralax animation before, but I gave it a go!
This is my favorite entry so far. Everything's crisp and well-defined; you've really conquered this palette.
I think it'd be a shoo-in if you animated it with a parralax.
Itt's not bad though a bit too simple for my tastes and I find the background extremely bland. The sprites are well formed for the style.
Wonderfully done. Art-wise that is. I'd have to agree it's one of the best.
Not really sure how this would work as a game.
Thanks folks :D
I moved the lower enemy up 1 pixel so her shark didn't fuse to the background so much, and edited the 1st so hopefully it looks a bit less odd now.
And yes, the green one does remind me of Cave Story too lol. It started as just a little flying saucer type thing but morphed into a froggy version of Chin-Fish
That little green creature reminds me of something out of Cave Story, especially with the red eyes. =]
I can't believe how well things work at this scale - I love it!
I racked my brains to come up with a useful crit, but the only thing I would change is the hook on the "1" of "1st" looks a little odd, and maybe AA the "2" in the time (using the green of the time's outline box?). But that's the best I could do, since this is made so well.
best entry thus far. great style, good work keeping everything simple and readable without being too crowded or noisy.
Lovely. Voted.
