The mock-up was made in two days. There was not too much time, so I haven't even made proper outline, and started to texture everything without finishing the outline. Thus the result looks raw, but I have no enough time and dedication to improve it considerably. It is also first time when I draw for so specific palette, other than ZX/MSX, so I haven't managed to use all the colors properly, and blue ramp of the palette is ignored.

Are those claws on the ends of the octopus' tentacles? cause that's awesome

I actually like the bubbly shape and the dithering. I think you should try to fix it up some more outside of the contest.
