The game offers 4 player simultaneous cooperative/competetive action, featuring scantily clad women fighting it out in intense 2d side scrolling mayhem.

Inspired by games such like Castlevania, Secret of Mana, Turtles in Time, and Dead or Alive Paradise, Siren's 4 features a unique blend of the elements which the previous 4 games great.

This piece underwent so many changes. Initially it was meant as a 2d shoot-em-up like In the Hunt, but the palette made it difficult to do convincing underwater terrain while keeping the sprites readable. 

Then it became an Adventure type game like Out of this World. But this made the piece bland since it didnt have much action or movement.

I  also considered making it an RPG. But finally decided to stick through it and just make a multiplayer action game like Double Dragon or TMNT Arcade. Which was fun in the 80's/90's, but hasn't been used as much during these recent times.

I kept various elements of the previous versions. The background wildlife consisting of whales and schools of fish from when it was a 2d Shmup, The sandy bottom came from the Out of this World revision, and the HP meters from its RPG incarnation.

I'd probably refine it later on; just need to step away from it to get a new perspective. C & C welcome.
