The eye on the right is really low and the weird herpes thing coming out of her mouth is sort of disturbing. This would do better with some more simplicity, I don't think the red/grey really work with the green/yellow/white
Wow, this is like a nicer version of something I made a while back. I really like it.
Good stuff, but it could use some more AA. I like the expression!
I just don't think pixel art adds anything to the aesthetic that vector or something couldn't. It only takes more of the artist's time and care to get there. You may be right that such a piece could be good aa practice or something, but as a method of producing this final product, it just doesn't seem the most efficient means.
Not that there's anything wrong with this being pixel art.
The angle is horrible and destroys everything in the piece from mine view. I know you're better.
I don't really see any problem with doing this as pixel art. Maybe the nature of the medium doesn't make that much of a difference on the final product, but it sure is important in the process. Instead of asking "Why pixel art?", I ask myself "Why not?" when I see this sort of thing.
But then again, it's my humble layman opinion.
Whatever, it's #@&%§ good.
Right (ours) eye and eyebrow look too low.
I suppose i'm stuck in an awkward stage. i grow tired of pixel art and certain points of technique, and yet here i am still. this is a good point and probably beneath it shows a transition away from the medium for me at least.
great style and colors, but I question whether pixel art was the most appropriate medium, or what the medium of pixel art contributes to a piece more concerned with large areas of color and use of pixel-level detail primarily as a means to smooth jagged areas.
so beautiful this is..
