When I saw this for the first time I just had to say, thats the way of pixel art. Its just one of my favorite pieces now.
I go online and logged in just to browse for some eye candy here at The Joint. So you can imagine my suprise when I came across this piece... and literally POOPED MY PANTS!... okay, not really, but amazing work main! This is what I crave! I have been scheming to make my own Monster Hunter. Unfortunately I am new to pixel art, so I am a bit far away from any sort of product at the moment.

yeah, there are various chars who have a nice contrast while others look less saturated. Like the dark dude in the middle bottom row and the third (from left to right) on the top row, the last looks like not receiving any light.
Maybe his armors don't reflect?
