Intresting, the render is not complex but it's efficient, i like them, what a pitty that you duplicate them in the half screen, anyway, it's not so bad :)
you're doing yourself a favor. problem is, its not just swearing because if that was the case i'd ve pretty much fucked up. its you damn attitude what is annoying. to be honest, you do sound like a whinny bitch and while you still have nothing to prove, you still have a lot to learn. if you're going to act like a big boy and speak as if you were some sort of bad boy whatever you think you are right now, i strongly suggest that you either quit that idea off your mind and be a little more relaxed, or at least humble, or simple shut the fuck up and get out. and this does not only aply here on PJ, and i'm not only telling you this as a pixel artist, but as a person in general. no one likes people with such a stupid, almost arrogant attitude pulled out of their butts for no reason.
you're not only meant to develop as an artist, but also, as a human being. still if you still consider that you don't fit and we're just being hostile to you for no good damn reason, then well, as i said earlier, you're free to get out and come back whenever you're ready to take criticism with your mind and not with your asshole.

actually, this is nowhere near being similar to resemble anything vic has made. a comparision between vic's work and this is just stupid.
while vic made these team fortress sprites after he originally created some other random characters, all you did was just pick the most editable thing of his work and bastardized it with random mash ups that look like anything. mean holy shit you made 9 charactersm just like he did, used his colors, the same features recolored, and exactly the same shapes/bodies. if it only took 20 minutes to make them, is because they're dead easy to make and hardly it could took you more than that to just copy&paste what he did. there is no learning here, its just a poorly executed imitation and it does nothing but just hang from the quality of the original.
and shit it is really bad. if this is the best you have in your gallery, i'd recomend you to reconsider taking that study of vic's work one more time, and actually, do it and not just say you did it because that would justify this piece of shit.

thats not learning that like stealing and modifing a little so you don't get in trouble. posting it was even dumber idea, pixeljoint is full of eople that know what there doing. posting something like this, people will know were you got it from whether you say the persons name or not.
if you truely did ant to learn then you would have studied this peice as well as others similar then went off and made your own stuff.

I think females and monster would help mix it up a bit.
what I mean is that the subject matter is a little too similar (modern soldier-type characters with specialized functions and similar gear, the whole blue/red thing. The blue/red things just doesn't make as much sense here because it was a bit more Team Fortress-specific, but I suppose it makes the allusion to Vic more obvious- whether thant's good or bad is your call.)
Primarily though it's just that the characters seem like they come from the same world/universe/story as Vic's characters.

the problem isn't learning from Vic, it's not learning enough. Rather than explore his style and discover the underlying rules that make it work by applying those rules to a new concept, it's just his style, very similar forms, extremely similar characters, working to the same purpose. It's a remake, and while there's nothing inherently WRONG with that, I don't think you're putting enough of yourself into this piece, and as a result I don't think you're benefitting as much as possible from this excercise.
I never said you copied Vic, so read my critique more carefully next time and just settle down for Christ's sake.

seriously, I was just drowing people in his style, then I posted it here, and only then I discovered that some of the people here are SIMILAR. I don't understand what's the problem with learning from someone else's work! Why! next you will start to yell that my fury (www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/51961.htm) piece and say that it is an absolute rip off of ''scaven...winter'', witch it is not! I only learned from a3um! Copeing is when I COPY and then PASTE! Why the hell do you people say that anything that comes out of the learning process is F***** S***?!
