the shapes of color- the pixel clusters- are all very unrefined. there's a lot of jagginess going on. there are single pixels places randomly in some areas. this is what onek means by "rough". there does not seem to be the expected level of refinement at the pixel level.
the colors- notably those used on the skin- are also rather close in value, making the image look washed out.
it also seems that the image posted by onek was the reference used, as yours overlays with this image pretty well if enlarged to ~157% its size. this isn't to say that there's anything wrong with using references, or even tracing, but it's best to post the reference used in the description- especially if the image looks as if it relied heavily on a reference.
I drew it from a picture that i took inside Left 4 Dead ages ago, when i uninstalled it to free up space the reference photo dissapeared. It's very old; and please elaborate how it looks 'still pretty ruff'
