Great way to take the style in new directions; it fits the style like a glove, but if memory serves, there aren't any buildings remotely like this in-game. Awesome!

Yup, very good as everyone says.. the only issue is the way the potions and swords look like they're actual items sitting on top of the buildings and not a flat image on a sign.
there is a reason why people loves minish cap. the whole game's artwork is delicious.

such great rendering, seeing these is infectious; I know what I'm going to go pixel now...
fave parts are the swirl on the bottom left roof and the wooden crates. Cure(?) did this in his recent 8bit pirate piece, but there is something truly wonderful when a grid-based game's perspective gets broken by off angled objects. Sure, it's just boxes, but it gives it a lot more character.
I agree that a quiver on the back of the archer statue would not be amiss, but WOW. These are so, so charming and adorable and and and... just so good. <3
Oh freaking hell these are awesome! The potions look like they're kind of sitting atop the sign rather than being painted on it, but still, <3 <3 <3!

I think it would be better if the icons on the sings (swords and potions) were like burned in the wood (woodcuts/xylography) instead of having their own colors. Also you can show some arrows on the back of the archer's statue (it's too small in terms of pixels if compared to the other two statues).
But it may just be me, because other than that I don't know what to say: it's perfect. Composition, colors, shapes (the bottom left building's roof is fantastic!) are perfect as they are.
I like the turtle thing, I like the statues, wait... I like everithing there!
