this looks really good, but i agree with the others about the shading in the sky. It could use a little more smoothing and variation. The different areas of color in the sky aren't integrated quite enough yet, I would say. I can see that the method would work because the parts close to the moon look great.

 Great! Nice colors and the moonlight effect is really nice...

 I've seen great ellipse shading, which is why this bothers me. It seems a bit noisy, and some of the skinnier ellipses stand out a bit too much.

No I like the shading. Its the mountains that dont fit into the eliptical shading. I just might have to try this style.

Reminds me of Bitswitcher hehehe...

 I don't quite like your elliptical shading, it should at least go both ways- have darker ellipses on the lighter regions. The moon contrast seems a bit high,but I like your mountains.
