You have legibility issues between fore/background though.
i can tell you how much you did for this pic, you used at the moment a 107 colors :)

Just too great for words. I don't see great and creative stuff like this nower days, and is always a reliever to know that people out there are still creative, and are blessed with the experience in using a variety of beautiful colors.

The background composition with clouds could be better, but nice choice of color and pixelstyle

I think that the platforms by the pillars should have less saturated bottoms implying that it's coming from the pillars. But looking quite fine!
obviously something happened when I saved this, i didn't go that crazy :P i'll fix it
what skamocore said.. this is undeniable pixel-art, but with some weird (hardly visible) noise going on all over the place.. rgb-values on 'blank' areas are going up and down by 1 digit.
cleaned color count should be around a fourth to a third of the actual 394.
Liking the tiles and background. Not so much the main sprite though.

I have a problem with the floating platforms in front of the similarly colored/textured pillars.

I've tried to set color depth of this image in GGale to 8bpp and 394 turned to 102.
Not paying attention to colour count is fine, but there seems to be an extreme amount of pixel noise plaguing this image (and 394 colours btw). Do you have a version of this without the artifacts?
