It's mainly the character himself, I just really applied a quick filter on him to appear dimmed, hence the additional 8 or so colours. I could lower it downby having the shading on the metal poles the same colour as the background ladnscapes.
That looks nice although there does seem a tad too many colours - but that's just a nitpick:)
im gunna look into canabalt, is it a game? this is a derelict construction site with cranes and half finished things.
edit: right okay, played it - it does look quite similar especially the cranes and the colours... damn, still im sticking with it as its very different - you'll be able to climb up the cranes in the foreground in the game and whatnot, this is just one scene. thanks though guys for letting me know 'bout that!
Ah, that's good stuff. Definitely looks like Canabalt, but not in a bad way.
