Done. My version of the back highlights is crappy, just there so you get the idea. Maybe just skipping those highlights would make it better.
I noticed the frame delay is 0: must not! Most browsers will display it their own way, happens that Firefox makes it 0.1" which is acceptable.
Oops, forgot to take care of the inside outline. Here, possibly overdone.
Which leads to another problem: your red and lightest brown are too close.
Thanks for the crit, manupix! If you could do the edit i would alot appreciate it thanks! :)
Funny and cute enemy!
Agree with some crits. The inside black belly outline isn't useful I think, the highlight along the forward leg might be wider when the foot goes backwards; and I'm not sure about the highlights along the back: they can't be reflexions because light comes from the right, and if they were lighter skin patches they should also get wider / narrower with the movement.
I think the beak might look like it turns more towards us by making the tip wider (1 px!) in those frame(s), like you did (well) with the shadow at the opposite end of the move.
Hard to explain, I'll do an edit if you're not sure what I mean! ;)
Nice overall, but I have a couple comments.
-Did you intend on the belly to look metallic? If you did, great. Otherwise it looks like copper.
-Second, the very tip of the beak seems to bend a little too much on the Z-axis because of the shadow . Less of the shadow may help or you could replace some shadow with the color you used on its chin.
-I don't think the black lines on the edge of the belly help the illusion of motion much. They are a tad distracting too.
Okay. All done. :P
I'm not sure about the black shadows on the back of his neck, they seem out of place/too dark.
Same with the beak and eyebrow area, they get too dark whe nhe moves, it looks more like a mistake than a shadow.
Maybe make his head bob like a bird when it walks? Something to make the animation just a little more interesting.
oki, thank you for your effort.
