The colors and messy pixels imply that you did not pixel this, but instead color reduced a photo.
reminds me of old dos games like simearth, kinda cool and yeh its harsh on the eyes - maybe its intentional, not sure?
Could you please show / link to some WIPs? The colors / limited use of colors/ roughness / difference from the rest of you gallery suggests that this is a color reduction and NPA.
I'm not gonna flag it because it may not be intended, complete, or known. Please forgive me if I'm wrong.
Other than the mentioned points, it does look real...
Ouch, it's a little harsh on the eyes. You should soften it up a bit, add a few more colors.
