i like this one pretty much. It got good mood on it. That star looks good but could look better smaller. :)
I love the choice in colors. Pixeled landscapes are the best.
@Parker - thanks, I'll look into that.
@DawnBringer - yep.
If this is something you saw; the "star" is probably the planet Venus, right?

I like the color choice and I think it would work great as a poster.
Thank you kindly. I think maybe it's misleading to say it's my first, because it's not like I've never done it before, but it's all been quite casual and unpresentable and whatnot, and it's pretty recent that I've thought of putting any serious effort into it. In any case, the banding was supposed to be a stylistic thing - it gives the impression of clouds or something like that - but anti-aliasing might very well look better. As for the darker green next to the silhouette, that was supposed to be a-a, but I'll see if it looks better without it. :P
This is your first pixel? If so, it's really well done for a first. I think you should look into more anti-aliasing and less banding. I really like the overall piece and color conservation. It's very well shaped.
I really like this! I would suggest making the line right above the main sillhouette the same color as the tone of the sky, just to make for more contrast. (i.e. i nthe dip in the middle, thepixels directly above the black are darkish green, and the sky right there is a yellowy green.)
i love how simple this is, yet it striking enough to get noticed :bd
