When I do big sprites I use 7 color by color ramp to obtain a smoth result.

Love the body and the sword. Not a big fan of the wings and the small head. Good overall

 I wouldn't imagine those wings being very functional :P I love the blade and the dripping on the claws. Also, in my opinion, the hair looks kinda dumb as hair, but would make a perfect tuft of grass in a platformer tileset. I would imagine a creature like this having longer hair.
