@jalonso: Thanks :). I looked at some of the programs you suggested. I feel that GIMP is WAY too advanced for what I want to do with it (PixelArt)... I'll only become confused by all of the possibilities, and I don't think a lens flare fits a pixel art =P. Anyway, Pencil looks like its focus is on something different) (quoting the site: "Pencil is intended to be a simple programme enabling anyone to make 2D animation."). It might be very appropiate for pixel art too, though. I'll have to try it out (no access to mac at the moment). Paintbrush is... Well, paint for mac. I guess it's about as good as MSpaint: has everything you need, lacks handy features like preview or lots of color choosing methods. I'll try it out anyway.
@yaomon17: Where should I add that? And how? I know what AA means, but I don't know how to do it in the things I make.
Cute for a beginner :)
Please fix the black outline around the roof, you are missing several pixels. Update using the 'edit it' link ^ there by the art.
Do use Pixen with care. It crashes and can lose your work. On apple's site is a few Paint like programs for free, Paintbrush, Pencil and GIMP come to mind. There are others.
As long as you only use the pencil tool and ignore the bells and whistles any program works just fine. I pixel using Photoshop which is all bells and whistles but I only use the pencil and fill tools. Mac users have to make do :)
ps: I think your house lost all its detail with this update, what happened? Make a WIP thread in the forum and maybe I'll be able to give you a tip or too. I'm sure others will too. We can define AA there too.
