turn-based combat ftw! despite its flaws (oversaturated grass, kind of lame trees, lack of proper contrast in some areas, unfinished portraits (compared to the rest of the work)) this piece really deserves attention! :) congrats!
Thanks for the comments! I I agree wholeheartedly with all your critique. I should've planned this one better; hours were wasted on redesigning things and fixing early mistakes, and in the end I had little time for anything else than rushing.
I saw this, squealed "Jagged Alliance" and promptly peed a little. Love the colors! The portraits seem a bit weak, but I understand that time is short, especially for a mockup this size.
The left part of the interface is amazing, I just wished the photos would be a bit wrinkled or whatever.
As for the game scene, all the greens should be a little more desaturated imo. But still it's quite nice and very much effort seems to be put in this. Well done.

Great job. I only dislike the road shadows being that black and the trees which are on the weak side.
Looks pretty polished to me. Although it reminds me more of The Syndicate than and RPG. Great job either way.
