AHA!!!
I see what you mean...the same hand only seen from the front instead of the back...duh! I should have got the reference as my daughter and I spent a very Happy Christmas playing that title. Nice game.
Zombies and Christmas, a great combination.
what is an l4d hand?
this is my hand...strange and twisted though it may be it's mine and I am attached to it.
Thank you for all your comments.
All I know is that this is indeed my hand and was drawn from a scanned photograph. All fingers were and still are shaped now as they were then.
Sorry if my extremities seem deformed. It could be a result of all those years of pixelling...
BE WARNED!!! ;)
Take off the thumb and it will look exactly like the bottom of the l4d hand.
Wow. Wish I could do stuff like that =P. There's just one thing... The bulge below the pinky and above the wrist (on our left side) looks a bit weird, like it sags downward...
But who am I to say stuff like that, who can't even make some proper pixelart? Great work =D
I do think that the palm of the hand could be filled out horzontally to provide support and well, space for all the pieces, and I think that the pinky is a bit too close to the ring finger (although I have a particularly independent pinky...).
However, what makes this great is the fact that it's just one frame, only flashes for an instant, yet has a stunning level of care and detail. Also really spot-on the the saturated midtone. Top notch work in all :D.
well if its for addams family i guess it should be wierd like that. idk wtv. i really like it it caught my eye as soon as i logged on the site even made me click before looking at the new challenge and such. well done
Really cool!
I just don't like the lines in the palm, and the arm bone next to the palm seems to be broken. Also, the forefinger is weird.
But, in general, it's quite good, 4/5.
The funny thing is when I first saw this in the main gallery I thought you stole it from the guys who made the game; then when I looked at your profile I learned you actually were one of those guys.
I was thinking "Hmmm maybe I should report this guy...", then I looked at your profile and I was thinking "OMG he's one of the game designers O.o".
Eitherway, I love your work. Addams Family was one of my favorite SNES games when I was a kid.
