@Jabber - Yeah rivers and water is about the only thing I pixel well. The gradient in the sky was intentional as It's based of an artist but yeah I had no clue how to detail the BG without ruining the style. T_T

Wow, cool one. Escaped me at the date of original posting.

 That gradient on the river is extremely nice. It looks very much like a reflection. That's what minimalistic color use is all about.

The rest of the image somewhat lacks detail, though, in my opinion.

Hey thanks a heap, I personally prefer my little slime guy but I'm glad you liked.

I would have loved to tweeked the pallet slightly so it was more suitable but oh well. I had fun doing this. ^_^
