Ive seen that before... the idea

 Well it wasn't exactly planned , and I went back and changed very little ^^;

It was mostly impulsive and started with the nose , then the face ...

Then I figured I don't know the shape of a human head and then it went all over the place.

And if any robot movie would be the inspiration for it I'd guess its "VIRUS" from 1999.

Reminds me of the movie A.I. Or possibly some other anroid/robot movie. The angle, perspective and depth looks a bit funky though. Not sure if that's part of the drawing style.
