Looks like an oil painting. I'm reminded of the fauves, which doesn't make sense, except colour wise. They used very saturated colours. Hmm...

Good job though!

Loving the waves, with such a nice yellow sky you would think it reflected its color on the water somewhere though (as well as on the crashing wave), those clouds make an odd pattern of 3 and 2 in stacks at an angle, if they were really far away you might expect them to be less uniform and with a horizontal-in-line-with-horizon bottom edge. Beatiful water

Now after the comments I see it too.  I was on a different monitor.  It was supposed to be higher upper clouds.  At least I thought it looked that way at the time.  I'll have to do something about that.

Agreed with Sai, what's up with the sudden shift into blue in the sky? Using the waves blue to transition(possibly replace entirely :/, that is some serious contrast up in the sky) would look better.

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the waves was "photo-reduction." That's how great I think it looks, like a photo with color's reduced(this is a compliment, not an accusation, I know it's all pixel-pushing).

 I love colorful stuff.

I think you could have used the same palette of the waves on the sky because the sharp transition from yellow to blue in the sky is a bit odd.
