I think you're missin' it, but let's not argue; it doesn't matter. I like what you've done here, it's a nice mockup.
How about some constructive crit, since my last post was quite pointless.
Just some observation, from me to you: the ground textures are very noisy. Calm them down and I think you'd have a nice improvement. I must warn you though, I'm one of those Zelda:aLttP fans.
Also, your tree canopy seems to mimic rock texture on top.
actually yes the description says its a mockup contest. not a font contest
Create a high score screen mock-up for a new, original game.
There is no rule that says i must create my own font so kinda lost u there.
Shouldnt the highscore screen actually show what kind of game it is? yes? mine shows, so learn to read the task before u come to talk a bunch of shit to my piece.
*echoes Tomic* (and xerox)
ECHO . . . . Echo . . . . echo . . . . .
I agree with Tomic, this is a highscore screen contest, not a mock-up contest. You should have drawn your own font.
Nice but the grass's tessellation is a bit obvious. ;)
first of all, i have spent a shitload of time on the mockup part, secondly the font is system which gives it a retrolike look, third ive added a shadow on the font which also took time.... ive put effort on this one, please dont bash it like that.
hmm :/
i'm pretty sure that writing text in arial font over a mockup-screen is not what this challenge is about!
Wow! It's very cool. I like the trees and the stone.
Congratulations :)
Woah, nice work. And the text works very well.
