 I found this challenge interesting to do, but the palette limitations were really hard (with four colors it was difficult to get the result looking right, while the inverted palette didn't bothered too much).

I used many references, all of them found by searching "drop" in google images.

snader's piece was one of those 'Is it PA?' pieces. No question in my mind it was real PA (the piece was awesome!). As can happen the piece was amazing and many felt it was a reduction and a comment war started. I lurked here since PJ opened but never joined and that piece just prompted me to chime in...

...your piece brought all that up and frankly I didn't even remember why I joined PJ in the first place till I saw your piece.

snaders' was the same subject but it was all blue and like 16 colors.

This piece is great looking and brought to mind the piece that after lurking PJ for a long time, prompted me to finally join PJ so I could have my say. The piece by snader (since deleted by him) was such a scandal at the time...good times.
