A perfect example of how to overdo the colourcount on purpose. 56 colours. COUTN THEM!!!1. Yeah, not a good idea generally, but it proves a point. Purposely doublesized to force the res it's supposed to be seen on. There's a silly pop-art thing going on with the repetitions too. Not a statement, there is no statement. Sorry.

Woah, that was a lot of smart words. I like the idea of practising to see what you can do with a certain pallete, because only the ones with actual skill can make something good with it, but using minimal colours all the time sometimes ruins a potentially good piece. IMO anyway.
If you use too many colours you're missing the point of pixel art as a discipline exercise, I think. The skills of colour conservation carry on to any art sort of artwork you might do, if you learn them in pixels. A unified and functional palette is a boon to any piece, and not to mention animated works.

Well... Everyone can think when art is overdone or is it not? I like put many colors because it will make the picture more realistic. :p
