i guess you could mistake it for a helm's piece because of the dominant colors i have been using in this one. however, helm doing a graffiti piece would be something new, i guess :)
tomic, yeah, it is a bit depressing that this kind of stuff has fallen from grace these days but too bad for them, true oldschool will live as long as we can pixel :) it's very comforting, though, that you like this one. thank you!
yeah, i could use a few more highlights (again, there is an additional sprite layer used), i kind of fell in love with them as soon as i have understood the way they work. but until the final stroke i was considering it to be plain HiRes (there you can't allow yourself for such "extravagance" of color usage).
Great piece, and nice palette.
A few of the extreme highlights could be more elegant though IMO.

beautiful piece. and totally underrated. seems like the ppl prefer mechs, dragons and crocodiles these days :/

this is awesome dude, i love the colours , but i think the face is a bit 'one colour' there need to be some darker colours on it, but this is sick nonethless

Pretty awesome, but i think that the face would benefit from more work and tweaking.
