it wouldn't be too difficult. i think your drawing skills are fine, it just a matter of having an eye for spotting isolated pixels and putting time into pushing the pixels around a bit and having them clump together as sensible clusters that click like puzzle pieces. Helm's cluster section in the ramblethread may be insightful (it was for me at least).
this is hardly an issue that's breaking your pieces, they're still well-made pixels, but it's an extra layer of polish that I expect would really help bring the piece together.
I just can't seem to shake my noisy style. Maybe because I can't draw. So create this noise to sculpt as I go. It's something I need to work at. Smaller things I seem to be better at while larger canvases I get a little overwhelmed and tend to overwork them.
it's the last forest on earth! of course they're maintaining it!
nice entry, though I do feel it's characteristically noisy and might benefit from paying attention to the noise that a single isolated pixel creates, as opposed to ideal clusters of pixels that work in harmony with one another.
Thanks for that link. It was insightful. I never really thought of pixel art like that before. Now I think this piece suffers from poor dithering and over highlighting. :-)
