Thanks Sippy. Yeah I was expirementing with a few things including outside AA. Was meant to be to give it a smooth yet rough sort of feeling but I don't know if 'fuzzy' is all that fitting for Zombies. As I mentioned everything is hard to tell on my current laptop. Talking of which I noticed a stray pixel above the zombie's shoulder when I zoomed in. That pixel doesn't even appear on 1:1 stupid damn laptop. Can't wait till I get my Qosmio.
Colour Pallet was my first real attempt at creating my own colours where I haven't picked them from a non-pixel image but actually hand selected. I don't think I'm all to good at that side of things all I know is I want to at some point create an effective pallet with green as the highlight and purple as the shadow as to me those to colours really give off a horror vibe. I think it's the clash in contrast that ruins the appeal of the pallet. the yellow and green have little contrast yet the purple stands out like mad. (or at least on my screen, yet another issue with my computer is colours)
I will try fix this up in a few weeks time. I probably will ditch the outside AA. Even thought about giving it a purple outline to fit with the Zombie and text, not sure about that idea though. Anyway I best get prepared for a giant graphics challenge for NeOlympics. =D
PS another query. to make the zombie more 'noticeable' I thought about filling that back circle with the red/maron colour to make the eye focus there however I'm concerned that will clash with the blood splatters. Just a random thought I had about two seconds ago. ^_^
really like the lettering and the splatters, although your right the color s definatly could use a tweak :D
how ever i would ditch the outside aa unless your going for a fuzzy look... even than... probably looks fine on really dark themes :D
Very pretty! I like the outline, and especially the transparant hole where the zombie climbs trough!
