This is my entry for the challenge FIRST PERSON PIXELS.

I make it Inspired in the game StarCraft and following the Doom style.
The gun is a C-14 from StarCraft universe. And the Zerg is the coolest, the Hydralisk!

While doing it, my inspiration was the DOOM(the original DOOM) soundtrack.

I must say, this is pretty badass looking shooter.

Thank you all!

There is a reason for the lack of anti-aliasing. Games like that(DOOM for example) have no anti-aliasing between two sprites. That is why there is no anti-aliasing in the display(at the left wall), for example.

Gig225 (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/11/2011 20:32

if you make a gun sprite sheet and other sprites i can make a game of it great by the way

Balamoot (Level 10 Maniac) @ 2/11/2011 17:59

That's super, bro!

Drazelic (Level 8 Partner) @ 2/10/2011 15:24

I think the environment adds to the game-mockup nature of the work. It was a bit intrusive at first, but if taken as an integral part it proves to add to the work's flavor!

Eldboll (Level 4 Murderer) @ 2/10/2011 14:46

I like this, the arms and the gun look cell shaded, which is a good thing. The enviroment looks kind of bland and a bit boring though, adding more props to it would make this piece even cooler.

Nightmare Maker (Level 8 Regional Boss) @ 2/10/2011 09:30

This looks awesome. The shading style on the hydralisk reminds me of pokémon-style sprites, and the ground pattern really does look like something we would see in Doom or Duke Nukem.

eliotfellow (Level 7 Assassin) @ 2/10/2011 09:13

I like this a lot except for one thing: the neon green on black is really intense and a little distracting from the rest of the piece. I think you should tone down the saturation and add some AA to soften it up.

But other than that, excellent piece! 5/7.

FelipeFS (Level 3 Hatchikyu) @ 2/10/2011 07:57

Me too!
Do you believe I never played the StarCraft 2? Does not run on my computer...
The plot of that game is amazing.

ChrisButton (Level 1 Rookie) @ 2/10/2011 05:37

I LOVE Starcraft!

ellie-is (Level 8 Partner) @ 2/10/2011 04:38

Muito bom mesmo cara, vai ficar entre os três primeiros com certeza.

t3nshi (Level 5 Soldier) @ 2/10/2011 03:31

the arms are like rockman's xDD

I like it a lot, especially the ground pattern makes me think about Doom or Duke Nukem 3d

wenruto (Level 5 Killer Klown) @ 2/9/2011 18:56

this is mad good congrats on finishing it
