I was being serious the background is over powering the foreground. You can't hardly make out the characters. Not sure why you can randomly offer unsolicited "advice" and then not take it yourself.
A snide attitude will only get you so far, I'd advise you to learn to accept critique (rather than retaliate as if it were a personal attack) if you have any desire to actively participate in this community.
My critique was intended as a helpful gesture, not an attack. If you have a personal problem, you can discuss it with me in a personal message, the comments section of my artwork is not the proper place for you to vent (accordingly, any subsequent comments to that effect will be removed).
This seems messy. The background is way to bright and is killing the subjects. You might want to reference the links you sent me earlier.
Love it, very unique. Would be a great album cover.
You hand could use a little work. I know at that angle that hands really dont have much definition to them, but yours could still benefit fron being slimmed down a little and shaping out the pinky finger.
As for the misinterpretation of the background, consider scrapping your currently-chosen pollock painting and choosing another one of his works.
Good luck on the challenge!
Heh, first I thought "football stadium", then I thought that guy reminds me someone, then I read r1k comment and it all made sense :D
I like it :)
huh, I saw it and thought 'ah, so someone chose pollock for the challange'.
Something looks a little off about your face, and your shoulders feel a little narrow with relation to the neck.
Though overall pretty nice
Yep, I thought it was a soccer stadium, though. Not sure why. Pollock would be proud of our confusion.
The background originaly read to me as faceless people in a baseball stadium, or something along those lines. Anyway, its pretty interesting.
I love everything except the backrond :/
it'd be cooler if it was like the indoors of a public bus or something around the lines of that :D
Your advice is welcome, your passive agressive attitude isn't.
