Today Jamon and I found out about D-pixel (http://retroidea.com/?p=9)

In order to test it out, we decided to pixel a 8-col avatar each, at 64x64x pixels.

We agreed to make them feature cats with hats, but accidentally both turned out to be smoking as well :)

By the way, the paw and the sleeve of the jacket are a bit indistinct from background buildings, thought the pipe's in the air at first.
