This is awesome btw, I especially like the hud. 

I see no faux pas. Good pixellin. The gun is angled strangely, pointing to the side rather than straight ahead. sidewalk is a little thin and the zombie pose could be varied to lose the copy/paste feel. solid pixelling though, love the impaled guy and the hud.
