Started as an experiment with lightening of a metallic surface. Then it somehow turned to this(: Rain effect was a pain, still not sure if I succeeded :\
Anyways, for the weekly challenge(:
Excellent color tone the little details are sublime, that style so accomplished is like H.R. Giger!
I love the contrast! metallica!
It's all about the rain effect, you completly succeeded in that, it's amazing!
Just one critic, i don't understand if the contraption is a head or a hand...
crisp texturing, and tech.. love it.
@Squirrelsquid - Thanks Woah, 2 years have already passed since I start pixeling! :O Still have a long way to go, though
Looking back at your earlier submissions - you've improved A LOT - kudos! keep it up :3
Man really great work! nice color blends too..(oh btw i re-uploaded the pic i did fixing the problem with the grid lol)
I'm not exactly sure what I am looking at but I still think it is awesome.
Woah, great volume..
Loving your works.
Oh. Muito Légal!!
Kind of Setzer-ish. Pretty good job!
well nice compo, but it really took me a while to recognise what was going on here... I was probably expecting something more front-facing. dunno.
Am I the only one who first saw some sort of abstract image of a skull and skeleton hands with a guy with a gun there?
Eventually, I finally grasped what it was, and it looks awesome when you know what it is. I reckon I'll vote for this, but it really does remind me of Arkham Asylum in that first fight with Scarecrow, which is in no way a bad thing.
Impressed by your recent stuff, keep it up :)
It got me about 1 minute to realize what we have here..
Great! :D I think we have a winner!
Only that is the fingers of robot's left arm is placed on a line - its not very cool imho. Better move and turn them a little, somehow... :)
water, and metal textures are amazing, love the piece!
Really good job! I personally don't like the small guy much.
I didn't see the rain at first, it's obvious only on the bottom left corner (although when seen, the dripping metal surface is great). Since there is a light source beyond the upper right, it's in that corner that the rain should glint the most, like it does around city lights.
Thanks Mrmo(: Haven't played those games, though ):
I am amazed.
The composition reminds me of the Scarecrow levels from Arkham Asylum. And SOTC. And other cool stuff.
