Thanks again. Pixeling is a harsh mistress. I've started to animate this one a little bit. Here's a link to see it so far.

(As a side note, I borrowed the zoom script for this page. If this is a problem, please let me know).
The right leg: pixel pairs line up vertically; it's mostly noticeable for the 3 lower rows (2x3 clusters being perceived as 'fat pixels'). Lesser instances on the right hand (4 lined-up long rows of pixels), the kid's neck and ears and face sides.
Great piece nevetheless!
Thank you for the comments. I made some edits that I hope address a few of the issues. I read up on banding (Cure's posting) and I'm still not a %100 on the concept. If someone could point out specific examples of problem areas, that would be really helpful. Thanks again.
Dynamic.. Dramatic..
Lighting is just so good.
What cure and Delicious said though.
your pieces seem to all be invaded by banding, which is unfortunite because they're all quite nice, including this one.
Very nice lighting. Quite dramatic!
Ahhh! Charlie Brown's ghost!
Nice lighting on the robot.
other than the banding, this is great! awesome lighting. I think you could lighten that black outline where it's set against the lighter colors (shinier metal), and add some aa where his head meets the black. nice atmosphere though.
well done!
