wow I think this deserved first place it's so well done!
Wonderfull picture, although i just can't tell if flowers are growing on a rock or a dead tree.
Also your avatar is fantastic and funny!
I like it a lot - but in some spots the shading seems to be abit smudgy - most noticable at the edges of the stones, where they connect with the grey of the garden. I think some more harsh contrasts there (only the real edge of them= would give it more clarity.
but that is a minor nitpick - it's beautiful as is :3
been looking at the public queu for the past five minutes, saw this on the main page and was looking rather desperately for the "yes" button :V
That's so beautiful... Great job, i love the way you colored btw
Very nice piece! I am reminded of Titan's Goblet: http://www.paintinghere.com/UploadPic/Thomas%20Cole/big/The%20Titans%20Goblet.jpg, which is one of my favorites.
Totally understand how you can't draw with the mouse anymore. Lovely piece, love the greens and the smoothness of it.
That this incredible work, I really like the colors you used.
Lovely. The bark texture looks more like a stone, but it's forgivable :)
I was wondering if there was a connection to the song when I saw the title. In any case, an absolutely fantastic piece. I love the fade into the horizon, and the way the gray contrasts with the foliage around it. i remember being inspired by the title quite a while back to try and do something like this, but I never got around to it. I'm glad you did.
Thank you, guys!
@jalonso - actually, that IS a 5th vine (: I hope it reads better now. Thanks
A wonderful piece. You rock.
My only nitpick is the four vines on the tree trunk. Items in even numbers in nature always read unnatural to me. I see the 5th in the rear of the tree but it looks more like an error in pixelling than a vine. Perhaps adding the 5th vine lower on the trunk's front in the shade?
Oh my, I love this one. Very awesome colors and great style.
Its bit hard to tell what it is but I like the technique and colors anyways
Totally dig it: it's fresh, lovely composition and color use. Great piece!
Thanks(:
@skamocore - thanks for your point. I made some minor tweaks with a furthermost hills
I think if you're going to use dithering in the background, then you should consider using more of it; right now it feels a bit ineffectual and messy.
Also, I would try more contrast between 3d3d3d and 1d3e29.
Overall though, this is <3
Nice good
