That space background is amazing. With the patches and dithering and awesomeness and stuff. You always seem to completely obliterate my chance of winning in any challenge, no matter how small it already was.

It is, on the other hand, common knowledge that Vikings were the first to explore the galaxies.
Awesome picture and idea. I particularly like how you incorporated the blues and purples into space to make it seem more alive.
The dragon-headed ships were kinda rare, too :)

I wasn't really expecting good reactions like these for this piece, as there are still some glaring 'holes' I've failed to fill in (such as the pretty sloppy exhaust), but thank you all very much, you've made my day. A great way to start a workweek :D
this is great. my only complaint is, as artistictiger pointed out, the flame looks too solid. maybe use more saturation, and break up those discrete chunks?
