I'm glad you were able to come to terms with an appealing palette. I agree that this version carries the best of the last two color schemes.

Adarias: I can't help but agree that the other version showed way more of a "Forest of Life" than this one. I'm changing it to somewhat of a happy medium now. It is with the general intention of the greener version, and now has the variety of lighting that the blue one offered.

 can you have both versions up?  this palette to me feels a lot cheaper than the original, which took a lot of interesting risks.  i've seen a million pieces with this same blue wash, it's just a shortcut to something we're conditioned to think is quiet or moody, but doesn't actually create that emotion.  the other was more rich and rewarding.

100x better! Very good, this got my vote btw. You should've pulled a root from the middle of the tree too to make it look a bit more balanced, but it looks great regardless. Really good palette.

 reminds me of the Great Deku Tree a lot. i like the moody colors.
