I love the colors and atmosphere, and Santa's beard is gorgeous! But I agree with xxmantisxx that's it's a bit cluttered and hard to read. You might have let some parts in shadow to better fit what's supposed to be Christmas night light, separate elements and give viewers eyes some rest places.

Also you miss a few dark reds/browns to bridge between the almost-black and the medium values (while some close colors could be blended so that the total need not climb). The use of pure white does not really fit with the warm atmosphere either.

I like it, although you may have made it bigger so that you could squeeze all of that information into it, as it seems very busy for such a small peice!

Still very good, I especially like the shading on the beard!
