What jumps into mind is 'dithering'. It isn't very subtle. I love the pallette though.

Awesome, much more interesting than 2 color work - in my opinion. I like the pirate very much. Reminds me a bit of the monkey island series - "A pirate I was meant to be". Yeah, good old times...
