Ehh, I wasn't really going for that, but now I see what you mean. I don't really know how to fix it either.
It's as if his body is facing forward in a 3/4 view like a pokemon overworld sprite, but then his face is looking up at the sky. Is that the look you were going for? Sorry, it just looked a little strange to me.
Why is his body facing forwards while his head is looking at us?
If you're going for the 3/4 top-down view, you could just move the facial features down a few pixels and make them overlap. For instance, the eyebrows would overlap the top of the eyes, the nose would overlap the mouth, the mouth would overlap the chin and the irises would reach the bottom of the eyes.
But this is all just if it's for a game, which I presumed it was. Judging as merely a stand-alone piece, it looks great.
