There's a very good reason it appears very similar to Arne's palette: I used it as a base and tried to tweak it to make it more like the C64's palette (desaturated). Since the Chip16 displays a maximum of 16 colours, it seemed quite convenient at the time for me to use Arne's palette.

That being said, I've noticed you've made a generic colour palette too, so I think what I'll do is first compare both Arne's and yours, and make mine!
