Thanks so much, not just for this compliment but for all of the compliments you left on my stuff and the favorites and such! It means a lot to me.
That's cool, I hadn't tested it on many backgrounds so I was trying to make sure, but most backgrounds work well enough that it isn't necessary. I agree about the default one by the way, it's actually really nice on it.
@Voldimars: Hey, thanks!
@sasuke91: Fine by me, it's not like I invented the c64 palette. I personally think that it provides a lot of color variety into a piece that could otherwise be quite bland and that it provides a very interesting challenge and learning experience about working with a strange and limited set of colors, in addition to learning how grey works as a buffer color. But hey, it's your opinion, I guess it's not for everyone!
It looks great in all backgrounds imo, especially the default. However, I didn't read why you wanted it, so if it's something you feel necessary, then go ahead with it. :P
Yeah, I think I agree. Alterred the hair a bit to fix it, thanks!
for criticism, the hair has one weird spot. There is a vertical line of light purple that doesn't look very good. The rest of the piece is so coherently colored, which is why it looks kind of weird
You sure? Alright. It didn't quite look right to me on other backgrounds sometimes, so I was trying to keep that from happening, but I'll toss it up as transparent. Thanks! And thanks to you too Frost Butt, I totally agree!
Nice job. Please make the background transparent though. :)
The palette really makes justice to the original lineart. Very good.
