gonna have to revise the piece, you have to pixel all of the image elements yourself. pixel meaning manipulating the image at the level of the individual pixel manually, not color-reducing digital art (not without a lot of cleanup anyway). and certainly not color-reducing digital art that was created by another artist.
Hahah Tanuki, it's still obviously a rip. Vierbit just didn't scale and position dong-xia's recycled pixels precisely over the original NPA bg from whence it came.
This is very unfinished. And the farthest bg resulted from way too much obvious blend painting.
The corner decorations need to be toned WAY down, they distract big time. Hey we're bright orange, LOOK AT US.
I'm not sure that it's a rip, since the leaves at the bottom are all clearly moving and changing shape between the two versions. A simple color reduction doesn't result in that. At worse it's a trace in which the reference wasn't mentioned.
So the butt was thrown in to distract us from the ripping?
Wow, vierbit.. o.o how did you find out the BG was (for a lack of better words) ripped? o.o have you seen it before? or a google search? *Applauds*
The background is gorgeous, but as others have said, the colors need to be pruned...a lot. A couple things that bother me about the elf chick is that her posture looks very uncomfortable (why does she have to be showing off her ass in this pic?) and the shadows in her hair are a little too saturated.
C'mon, approve this.. most negative votes for this must have been for the earlier version.
Thank you Gecimen!
Use your method to control the color I 128, hope this can pass!
Thank you! I probably know what you are thinking. I'll change again!!
I like pixel picture, try to picture, but it is by feeling, a lot of places all don't understand, later want and everybody study!
This does look like pixel art (and an excellent one) but there's still way too many colors. You can easily reduce them in Photoshop with Paint bucket tool. (Here's an example) Also there's some pillow shading on the leg. Hope you can reduce the color count and get this through.
eh, that 'cleaning' stage is really necessary for the background to be 'pixel art' by PJ's standards. doesn't look very pixelly atm, just looks like a color reduction. though apparently the image still has a huge amount of colors, too many for pj's spec checker to even handle.
the background also needs to be pixel art for this to be accepted to the gallery (no automatic tools that blur/smudge/auto-aa/generate tons of new colors). the bg is nice though, might could just separate it, then color-reduce and clean till it's pixelly.
Don't give up man.
