I don't know. It's a lizard-man-thing with a fancy hat and a ghost creature. Seriously, I have no idea where on earth this came from. Gave me some nice practice with a scale texture without rendering every scale's edge individually.
Fun palette, interesting shape. The palette doesn't feel as smooth and synergistic as Manupix's(and I still may do a France one as well for fun). Took me a couple of hours, maybe 3, in GIMP. I don't remember how many of the colors I used, but I stuck to the palette. Oh, yes, that's what I was going to say: Doesn't work great on all BGs, unfortunately. The ghost is pretty good on anything, but I can't say the same for the lizard. Straight black is the best BG.
Oh, and I'm assuming I could violate the transparency rule to generate a preview image, tell me if I'm wrong.
...yeah, sorry that the entire thing makes no sense. Cheers folks! |
In the past I've seen peple ask about the preview following the rules for the week as far as transparency and animation. They were mostly told that it was preferred but not required, but I've seen people violating it for months with no comment. I'd say it doesn't matter, but I hold no power. ^_^
