I like this one better than the archer one. Both are epic tho! High quality for sure.
I love the style. I don't really notice anything wrong when I first see it, but when I read Ellian's post I do see those little details. I guess I have to look closer.

This has really great animation! Although I have to agree with the others about the sword looking a little out of pace with the rest of the running.
Your darkest hair shadow color is too dark imo, and you have alot of banding spots (especially on the sword) but, eyh, that looks gorgeous nonetheless.
Smooth animation! Wish the sword was a bit animated too.

this is surely one of the best animated oldschool pixel-art sprite I ever seen.
lots of rough spots on the pixelling, nice animation though. bit odd that the sword doesn't pivot at all though
