Well glad to hear it's recognizable, that was my first objective. :)
I kinda like the legs as they are (looks more cartoonish), but I will look into it. However, could you elaborate on the "your shading style changes a bit" ? Although I know there are less details on the shirt, I fail to see what's different. x_x (unless you spoke only of the legs, obviously)
This is really cute and stylish! Very unique and there's so much emotion expressed in such a small space :D
Very expressive style, and perfect for an avatar. I like it a lot.
The bottom half feels a bit like a style shift, though. Your shading style changes a bit, and the legs are much smaller than the arms. I can't help thinking that doubling the pants-length might make your weight look more accurate (albeit less cartoonish).
All in all, though, it's great. Every time I see it in a comment post it is immediately recognizable.
Becaaaaaaause... Noone said I was happy with it ? Eh, well, I love pixel arting my weight, but it's no so much fun in reality!
And as for my gf, she lose weight. I'm pretty sure she gave it to me in my sleep. >(
EDIT : right now she's stuffing me with homemade hash brown potatoes.

If you and your girlfriend feel good with your new appearance, then why change it?
Well, you know, it's winter and everything, need to eat alot to fight the cold and my girlfriend is an extraordinary cook, and...
I really should do some sport, eh?
It's-a-good, Ellian! :)
Although it's hard to compare a shift in style, I think this is objectively an improvement.
Sure, I'll expand. That might have been the wrong choice of words.
The buttons on the top of the shirt go straight down, but the shading on the shirt indicates a different 3d shape. Also, the shadows are a bit heavy compared to the rest of the piece, but maybe that's just because it's the only large solid area? (less fat outlining would probably make the straight-down buttons look better, though)
As you suggested, I think it is more a shift in detail. The top half has a black-outlined collar, while the bottom has unoutlined details. This fits well within a cartoon style, but it wasn't what I was expecting when I clicked the preview.
Anyway, I still really like the piece, and it's growing on me the more I see it. I had a different preconception of what the bottom half should look like, and I *may* have taken it out on you unfairly.
