Ya honestly i don't see this as a rip. Besides, the scb characters' legs come out of their heads. Im actually quite fond of this. One thing that could help is some hat movementand perhaps some hair movement as well. try it out at least.
I got Super Crate Box before doing this piece, but I've done works very similar to this one before knowing about the game and they follow the same style.
For example, the preview for this one (wich by the way, was compared to SCB and that's how i found out about the game), the nose on these two, the anatomy from this, this and the cop on this one.
So no, it's not a SCB ripoff.
