Sorry, you should study palletes a little more, mine he is not perfect cause its "old". =) thanks anyways, the problem with your edit is the contrast, I don't feel like "finishing" this piece no more. ^^
A quick edit I made. What I did was darken the color that is at the edge of the light around all the band people. I think it makes this piece look much less grainy.
no O.o the last update was 2 months ago lol. Thanks for looking at my gallery again =)
Suddenly this looks a lot more grainy... did you change it? o_O
I am glad you liked it. Now I am doing something with a tablet a bought 2h ago...
*click* -> "Unfortunately, this SME-music-content is not available in Germany because GEMA has not granted the respective music publishing rights. Sorry about that."
yeah Super17 said that too I am lazy to fix it now...
wow, I think you're one of the fastest growing artists on pj! One thing that bothers me is the blue aura to the left that seems to just get cut off. Anyway, good work :D
I think the black space could use something to tie it all together, but for the time constraints of the weekly challeng, this is fantastic. great work!
Now we have the prrof hard rockers are devilish! Cool piece!
Yeah, dithering suffered in my version, but was just a quick edit. Your version looks good, I just would dim the darkest green a bit.
=) thanks again I really appreciate your color change, I did it this wway I think it looks better, tell me what you think. =)
edit:
its because the way you did the dithering effect isnt that great XD but thanks again ;)
As said, I think the dithering works well here, because it's kind of smoke and this is the only thing which is heavy dithered. And I like Manupix Idea, here is an example how you could do it: Click.
Mixed the palette a bit (it reduced the color amount to 15) and added backlight to the skulls (very rough though).
Thanks I am improving everything now. I will try mixing palettes as you said. Fixing shadows as Super17 said and fixing minor mistakes. I don't think dithering here is bad because I think the palette is working well together.
Ambitious piece, you're seriously improving ;)
As others said, the main problem here is it looks like 2(3) disconnected pictures, both in spatial composition and colors. Some neutrals could link these palettes better, and you should reuse some of the colors in both parts (obviously lame example: green light in the skulls eyes and other reflections).
Also the long format doesn't seem to be really justified (other than the cool factor), the players are too far apart and the skulls obviously lack vertical space.
Careful with dithering, less is always better than more.
Thanks =) I will fix all mistakes tomorrow. I need to finish something today
Nicely done, very lovely colors! Composition works well, maybe a bit more to the right blue guy to balance it better, but still done well.
@Tpoe I saw lots of mistakes I am going to fix it today =)
The left most green part seems like an entirely different piece, there's almost a perfect invisible line between the green part and the red part. Great otherwise.
thats a great idead but its going to be hard to do this effect
oh, thanks =) I think something is missing here...
i love metal = i love this ! nicepalette btw
