Yes I know this isn't the April Fool's challenge, but I've been pretty intrigued by Graindolium's abstract triangle-y style and I decided to try it out, since this challenge seems so perfect for it. Main reference was his Tigre piece:  http://www.pixeljoint.com/pixelart/68551.htm

I've also always been intrigued by photomosaics, which is what this sort of style reminds me of

 You had me fooled too! I think you've done a great job of showing the style, and it actually helped me to better understand the idea of Grandolium's work too : ) I want to try out the style one day, although I have a feeling it might be trickier than it looks : P
