Yeah, I kind of like the style you've got going. It'd be interesting if the left one was Bitter, and the right was Sweet. I like the upscaled style of the hair and emoticons, too. The left character's hair is a bit odd in its lighting (the right character's bangs don't darken her skin nearly as much). Anyway, nice!

EDIT: Oh, and the text is really well-drawn! Cool design.
