dunno, but according to the biomes: snow, grass, beach, moutains, canyon, etc, the colors accumulated x)
anyway, thanks =)
Dithering gives texture. Sand has texture, and grass does too. Snow does not.
@Pixer I really love this piece, it should be higher up!
thx a lot vmarach :3
pheno, the snow is more comact than sand i thnk, so i didnt dithered it ;)
Literally the only problem with this that I can see is the lack of dithering in the snow. It's a bunch of small particles, just like sand, so shouldn't it have been dithered as well?
I hope you don't mind if I use this as a future refrence on shading, I really admire your tecnique.
HOLY!!!!! Oh my gosh, when this was loading my mouth literally just dropped! Amazing!
Hm, exact, je devrais penser à regarder la localisation du membre avant de poster ^^"
oh yeah lol i've not noticed the snow on the trees x)
thx a lot all ^^
Exceptional work! It would look even better if the snowy region had trees with snow on their leaves/branches but it is still awesome.
Amazing work. The texture and the scale of it all is wonderful. I have such a hard time with landmasses but you pulled it off great.
Really nice job on this. The texturing looks lovely.
This is very nicely done! One thing I noticed though, shouldn't the trees in the snowy region have snow on them?
great design, waves seem a little geometric however
Yeah, this is awesome. Your transitions between desert, mountain, grassland, etc are nice.
Snowy mountains and a desert on the same island :O
Awesome work! Must've took a great deal of time (and cool).
